The Godd#mn Frank Miller: Superman Year One Announcement
Last year DC comics announced the premiere of the "Black Label" line of comics which would feature several works by Frank Miller. The well known artist and writer will be working on at least two new titles, "Superman: Year One" and an untitled Carey Kelly series . This was announced last year on March 2018 by DC and several media outlets. There were, of course, fans of the publisher that did not look forward to or pay attention to the new line of comics until the release of "Batman: Damned" in September 2018. The premiere title of Black Label drew in publicity after readers witnessed the provocative imagery of a nude Batman. Prices on the comic increased dramatically and became erratic for a period of time. Such a situation was enough for readers to start looking at the new line of comics with the expectation of being impressed by the promise of a new more "no holds barred" style of writing.
